Precision Dyeing

Precision dyeing, and this workshop, is all about "good" dyeing—methods that allow the studio dyer to create consistent, repeatable colors resulting in light- and wash-fast fibers, yarns, and fabrics. Using six hues and mild chemicals, every color in the spectrum can be dyed. The workshop is presented for either protein or cellulose fibers—the hosting organization selects which.

• Secondaries & Tertiaries
• Tri-chromatics
• Chroma Bridges
• Gradations

Participants leave the workshop with samples of up to 300 repeatable colors complete with recipes.
